Elvis (and his gang) helped to kick off Friday's parade.
The Christmas season has come to Fort Worth. On Friday, the Chesapeake Energy Parade of Lights kicked off the season in style with over 100 floats and a visit from Santa Claus and an entire gang of Elvis'.

FORT WORTH, TX (Catholic Online) - The theme of the parade was "Christmas Delights!" There were many special moments, but chief among them were a gang of Elvis impersonators who rode motorcycles adorned with twinkling lights at the start of the event.

Santa Claus closed the parade on the final float and posed for pictures with kids afterwards.

Following the parade, the lighting of the Sundance Square Christmas Tree concluded the evening. And Sundance Square was lit with a new energy saving LED lighting system.

The festive crowd came from all around the region, with some visitors driving the better part of 100 miles just to see the show.
