New pet adoption center in Fort Worth

Catholic Online (www.catholic.org)

Fort Worth residents can now adopt pets at the new PetSmart adoption center.
Fort Worth now has a second pet adoption center which means more pets can be easily adopted by hopeful owners.

FORT WORTH, TX (Catholic Online) - The new adoption center has opened at the PetSmart store in the far north side of the city, and is creating a new opportunity for pets to find homes.

Currently, the animal shelter is located in an industrial zone, so pets have not been easily placed before prospective owners. By opening a center where people who love animals go, it is expected that adoptions will rise.

Despite the expected rise in adoptions, animal shelter staff say they will still have plenty of other animals who need homes.

Pet owners are encouraged to spay and neuter their pets, and to adopt their pets from shelters while refraining from purchasing pets from breeders.
