Nolan High School plans on expanding their campus to include a fine-arts center as well as a new parking lot.
The Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth has recently bought 22.4 acres on the northeast corner of Oakland Blvd. and Interstate 30 for its proposed expansion plans for Nolan High School.

FORT WORTH, TX (Catholic Online) - Nolan High School, just east of the property, wants the land for a fine-arts center and parking, according to diocese spokesman Pat Svacina. There is not construction timetable, he said.

The deal included the neighborhood shopping center and other tracts at the corner, but not the gas station, Svacina said.

The property was sold by the Fort Worth Housing Corp., which bought the land a few years ago for a possible project. According to property records, the shopping center was developed by Perry Financial Corp.
